Is the Adventure Right for Your Child?

Age should only be used as a starting point. Check that your child can sit comfortably, reach the handlebars and operate the controls without stretching. The adjustable speed limiter can be used to restrict the available performance while the rider gains experience.
Parent Control & Safety
The Adventure includes an adjustable speed limiter, key ignition and safety cut-off cord to support supervised riding.
Children should always ride under adult supervision and wear suitable protective equipment, including a correctly fitting helmet, gloves, protective clothing and closed footwear.
Before the First Ride
The Adventure uses a two-stroke petrol engine, so there is no separate engine oil to refill. Suitable two-stroke oil must be mixed directly with the petrol at a ratio of 1:25 before filling the fuel tank.
Before each ride, check the tyres, brakes, controls and fuel level. Make sure the safety cut-off cord is correctly attached before riding.
