Is the Cobra the Right Quad for Your Child?
The Cobra is designed for riders from approximately 5 years and a rider height from 100 cm.
Age and height should only be used as a starting point. Before choosing the Cobra, consider the rider's physical size, previous riding experience and ability to comfortably reach and operate the controls.
With a seat height of 45 cm and compact dimensions, the Cobra is well suited to younger riders who are ready to move up from electric ride-ons to their first petrol-powered quad.
Before riding, check that the rider can comfortably place both feet on the footboards, reach the brake levers without stretching and operate the thumb throttle correctly.
Young riders should always be supervised and wear suitable protective equipment, including a correctly fitting helmet, gloves, protective clothing and closed footwear.
Parent Control & Safety
The Cobra includes several features designed to give parents more control while a young rider gains experience.
The adjustable throttle limiter allows the available speed to be reduced and gradually increased as riding skills develop. The Cobra does not use a parental remote control, so young riders should always use the quad under direct adult supervision.
Before the First Ride
The Cobra uses a two-stroke petrol engine, so there is no separate engine oil to refill. Suitable two-stroke oil must be mixed directly with the petrol at a ratio of 1:25 before filling the fuel tank.
Before each ride, check the fuel mixture, tyres, brakes, controls and chain. The safety cut-off cord should be correctly attached to the rider before setting off.
If using the cargo racks, make sure all items are lightweight and securely attached. The maximum load of 60 kg applies to the rider and any cargo carried on the quad together.
The Cobra is designed for off-road use only and is not approved for use on public roads. It should be ridden on suitable private land, closed courses or off-road areas where its use is permitted.
