Beneo Motors Explorer 50cc Petrol Quad
Compact petrol quad for younger riders.
The Beneo Motors Explorer 50cc is a compact petrol quad with a 49cc two-stroke engine and automatic transmission. It is designed for younger riders learning to control a petrol-powered quad.
Front and rear cargo racks provide space for carrying small, lightweight items, while the adjustable speed limiter allows an adult to restrict the available performance.
Key Features
Front & Rear Disc Brakes
Disc brakes are fitted at the front and rear and are operated by hand from the handlebars.
Front & Rear Suspension
Suspension at both ends of the quad helps the wheels follow uneven ground when riding on suitable off-road surfaces.
Chain & Exhaust Protection
Protective covers around the drive chain and exhaust help reduce direct contact with moving and hot components.
Easy Pull Starter
The petrol engine is started manually using a pull starter after the ignition key is switched on.
Is the Explorer Right for Your Child?
The Explorer is suitable from approximately 4 years and a height from 95 cm. The seat height is 45 cm.
Age and height are only a guide. Check that your child can sit comfortably, reach the handlebars and operate the throttle and brakes without stretching.
Parent Control & Safety
The adjustable throttle limiter allows an adult to reduce the available performance while the rider is learning. The ignition key helps prevent the quad from being started without permission.
The Explorer also has a safety kill switch with cord. If the rider comes off the quad, the cord disconnects and stops the engine.
Children should always ride under adult supervision and wear a correctly fitting helmet, gloves, protective clothing and closed footwear.
Before the First Ride
The Explorer has a two-stroke petrol engine and requires petrol mixed with suitable two-stroke oil. Follow the supplied user manual for the correct fuel mixture and maintenance instructions.
Some assembly and pre-ride checks are required before first use. Check the tyres, brakes, controls, chain tension and fuel level before riding.
The Explorer is intended for suitable off-road areas and must not be used on public roads.

How to drive safely
Safety First
1. Wear the Right Gear: We always recommend wearing proper footwear, a helmet, gloves, knee pads, and elbow pads for your safety.
2. Off-Road Only: Please note, this model is not approved for road use (“not homologated”)—it’s built for exciting off-road adventures only.
CAUTION: The EasyStart pull starter on your pocket quad features a mechanism that multiplies the user’s power, helping you start the pocket quad easily without applying much force. This type of vehicle starts with a simple arm movement toward the chest. Its condition depends on how it is pulled; damage to the starter will not be covered under warranty. This type of vehicle requires a start-up process upon receipt, in addition to assembly. Don’t forget to check tire pressure, chain tension and lubrication oil, proper cable routing, and your carburetor settings.
If the idle is too high, the engine will make a shrill noise. It is crucial to reduce the idle speed to avoid engine damage. Don´t forget that the proper functioning of this type of vehicle also depends on carburetor adjustments.
BE CAREFUL: The seat must be inserted from the front and clipped at the back. It is important to position the seat correctly before clipping it in place.
Feel free to contact our customer service team, who will help you in case you are not sure about adjustments and you need help.
NOTE!
Please note that this model is not approved for road traffic use! ("not homologated")
What to check before driving
Before you head out on your first adventure, take a moment to make sure everything’s ready:
• Check the tire pressure.
• Adjust the chain tension and make sure the oil is topped up.
• Ensure cables are routed properly.
• Double-check the carburetor settings to make sure it runs smoothly.
Idle Speed Adjustment
If your quad seems to move by itself, smokes more than usual, or won’t stop with the cord, it could be because the idle speed is set too high. The engine might make a loud, shrill noise in this case.
• No worries—just use the screw on the carburetor to lower the idle speed, which will keep the engine running smoothly and avoid damage.
Seat Alignment
Take care when fitting the seat—if it’s misaligned or too much pressure is applied, it can damage the mounting hook.
• Simply insert the seat from the front and clip it into place at the back. It’s that easy when done right!
